Badminton tournament – doubles only, baby !

At the Brussels Games this year again, we’re playing exclusively in doubles !

You’ll spend the entire Saturday on the courts — in pairs — and all skill levels are welcome.
We can host up to 200 participants, spread across 21 courts.

Registrations

Registrations are made individually, according to your level.

We organize doubles for all genders, with the following levels: A, B+, B-, C+ and C-.

Categories may be adjusted depending on the number of registrants.

We ask that you register with your partner.

Don’t have a teammate yet ? No problem, we’ll do our best to help you find one.

Note: If you won a gold or silver medal in the last two editions, please register in a higher category.
The organizers reserve the right to adjust your level if necessary.

Check-in

Each player must register:

• Either on the Friday evening at the welcome event;
• Or on Saturday morning, before 8:45AM at the venue.

Any player who has not registered before 8:45 AM risks being excluded from the tournament.

Event programme

Let's meet at 8:30 AM. We'll start with a group warm-up at 9 AM with our physical trainer — to get both the muscles and the atmosphere fired up.

Matches will be played in groups of 5 to 7 teams :

→ Each team will face every other team in their group, guaranteeing a maximum number of matches (because in the end, we're here to play, right ?).

Then, the best teams move on to the knockout stage :

→ Win, and you continue ;

→ Lose… and you can head straight to the third half

The medal ceremony is scheduled after the final matches, around 6 PM.
